How A Season Works

Place. Play. Climb.

  1. 1PlacementYou're placed in a league with players around your level.
  2. 2A or BEach level's players are split into A and B for fresh match-ups.
  3. 3PlayYour matches, each best of 8 legs, on camera.

The Details

Points, Rules And The Small Print

Player Placement

  • New players are placed with players around their level.
  • Returning players move with the table: promotion and relegation decide next season’s league.
  • Your level decides your league, not whether you are placed in A or B.

League Structure

  • The current season has 2 leagues.
  • Players are divided into A and B for fresh match-ups.

Schedule

  • Everyone in a league plays everyone else once.
  • Each round's fixtures are to be played within 7 days.
  • Fixtures appear in the S7 Darts app, and players arrange match times with their opponents.

Scoring And Match Rules

  • Matches are 501, straight in, double out.
  • Best of 8 legs; a draw counts.
  • Who throws first is decided at random.
  • Each turn has 60 seconds.
  • A win is 3 points, a draw 1, a loss 0.
  • Level on points, it goes to leg difference, then head to head, then average.
  • A board camera is needed for every match.
  • A result can be questioned within 48 hours of the match.
  • Tables track results, points and leg difference; 180s, highest checkouts and best legs are recorded.

Season Progression

  • The top 4 in each league go into the play-offs.
  • At the end of the season the top 2 go up and the bottom 2 go down.

Written from the league’s rule book in the app, so it always matches how matches are played.
